Children's Ministries
And whoever receives one such child in My name receives Me: but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a heavy millstone hung around his neck, and to be drowned in the depth of the sea - Matt. 18: 5,6

Permit the children to come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these - Lk.18: 16

*Nursery - Help needed
Nursery is provided for all ministries and services. We have four nurseries right now to provide parents with the option to worship relatively free of distractions. (Currently, a wonderful opportunity is available as the Nursery Coordinator for someone with a heart for nurturing and caring. Please call our church office if you believe you are the one!)

*Promise Land Worship Service - Help needed
The focus of this ministry is to provide a worshipping environment that is age appropriate. This is achieved each week with a lesson that is centered around one Bible point in such a way that the children remember the point and put it into action. Every game, song, snack and activity reinforces the Bible point. This ministry is available at our 10:50am services. (For the 1st - 5th grade kids, during the 10:50 AM worship service from July - September, there is currently a need for a PromiseLand teacher. If you are interested please call the church office to find out more!)

*AWANA
AWANA, is a Bible centered club program. It stands for "Approved "Workmen Are Not Ashamed." AWANA provides BCBC with a program to reach kids from 3 years of age up through junior high. We have it each Sunday Night during the school year form 5:45pm - 7:45pm. A typical club evening for all groups consists of three main segments: an active Game Time geared to each grade level, a Handbook Time where they are rewarded for their handbook achievements, and a Council Time that focuses on giving a clear gospel presentation where all clubbers are challenged towards coming to Christ and living for Him. We encourage you to bring your child to AWANA one night and we are confident that they will be begging you to bring them again and again. This is one club program that the kids really love. What a thrill it has been to be the Church to introduce AWANA to New Bern!
