Welcome to Brice's Creek Bible Church! If you have visited us in the past, we hope that you were warmly welcomed and refreshed spiritually. If you have not yet been to BCBC, we invite you to join us in our worship services on Sunday morning, and for other activities and ministries. We would very much like to get to know you and help you in your spiritual journey.
The past several years have been an exciting time in our Church history. We started meeting in a garage in 1983 with only a handful of families. In 1991, we bought our present property. In 1994 we completed our sanctuary and in 1997 we added our 2-story educational/fellowship building.
However, our history is not static, but dynamic. We are continuing to march into the future with a sense of great spiritual anticipation, as we trust the Lord for even greater opportunities to know Him and make Him known. Whether it's our past, present or future, the one constant vision is winning, building and sending as we see the power of God moving among us transforming lives, restoring families and kindling within us a sense of expectant hope about out lives, our purpose for living and our future.
Our Staff: Barry D. Teague has been the pastor since the Church's inception in 1983. He has a BA degree in psychology from East Carolina University and a Master of Theology degree (Hebrew and Semitic Studies) from Dallas Theological Seminary. He has also completed a one-year post-graduate studies program at Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel. He also has one book to his credit - Making Your Faith Make A Difference, published by Victor Books
Associate Pastor of Youth and Education: Phil Hamilton has been with us over a year as our Youth Pastor. He and his wife, Kelly, are both graduates of Dallas Theological Seminary and moved from Dallas to New Bern to join us. It is exciting to watch them learn and grow as they experience being new parents!
Rhonda Denison is our Church secretary. She has recently taken over for Betty Littman who faithfully served our family since 1998.
